I forgot to put the slow cooker on so am planning on doing it in the oven in a casserole dish instead ... How long should I cook it for and on what temperature? Thanks ☺️

Nothing worse bless you 🤦🏼‍♀️ this is what the Ask Beth AI is great for on here (it’s right under the recipe title). I was interested what if would suggest and this is what it came up with in response: “No problem, this works really well in the oven too. Cook it covered at 180°C conventional / 160°C fan / gas mark 4 for around 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, until the chicken is tender and piping hot throughout. Use a casserole dish with a tight-fitting lid, or cover well with foil. Check it after about an hour and add a splash of water or stock if it looks a little dry. Stir in the parsley and gravy granules, then pop the dumplings on top for the final 20 minutes, covered, until they’ve puffed up. Make sure the chicken is cooked through with no pink in the middle.” That sounds pretty spot on to me! Xx

Hello! Could I check the water of 175ml for 2 people is correct? I’ve had to top up the water twice and it’s on a low setting. Thanks
